Our History

Business Services UnLimited (BSU) was launched in 1993 offering comprehensive financial and accounting services to government and independent contractors in the DC Metropolitan Area. Services ranged from the organization and computerization of a client's business and accounting records, to full-service bookkeeping and cost and contract accounting. BSU also offered design services to its clients starting with internal forms, reporting systems and other technical documents.

By 1996, demand for our design services was so high that we phased out accounting services completely. Over the next several years, we designed technical illustrations and cover art for more than a dozen Information Architecture related documents for the Federal government. Our clients were the US Department of Energy (DOE), the US Customs Service and the US Chief Information Officers Council. Our services expanded to include website design for DOE as well as commercial and individual clients in the United States and Europe.
